I attended Indiana University, where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2012. Upon graduating, I moved back home to Columbus, IN, where I began work as a carpenter and independent contractor renovating homes in foreclosure. As a carpenter I was fortunate to pick up several different skills in a short time (everything from framing, painting, landscaping, to insulation.) I began working with Knauf Insulation in July of 2013 as a field trainer, which is where I was able to take the skills that I learned as a carpenter and apply them to my current field of residential training, focusing on the envelope. Knauf’s outlook on sustainability and improving energy performance with proper building science continues to be a great fit for me, and I am excited to be in the position to help further the knowledge of HPIP contractors.
